Back to back pitches, nearly identical spots, and the worse pitch gets the strike call — with the ump show delay of the call just to mess everyone up.

Watching some umps this postseason make one last gasp of showboating before ABS challenges come in is truly frustrating.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

When I wrote my master's thesis a decade ago, covering similar ground (bit more on the 00-05 half of things), I struggled in my conclusion on settling out where things stood at that point. Not sure I had the perspective yet to pull "semipopular music" from the archives, but it's a perfect fit.
