It makes sense that the first and last cars are designated for bikes. Furthest from the elevator (at least at my station). And frankly, enough people needing to sit in those seats at my odd hours would be a problem OCTranspo would like to have.

It’s a bit weird to take up accessible seating on the LRT, but it’s helpful. With all buses having rack and roll, I’m more confident taking my bike on public transport around town. I don’t always want or need to bike 10k each way across town when I can hop on and off.

Hear me out: what if the lights on these streets were intentionally timed to discourage speeding, because the driver would be more likely to hit the red? For instance, greens all the way up Kent, but timed for 50km/h.

Final thought: Glass bottles are environmentally friendlier, but companies don’t like them. Beverage companies around the world have been phasing them out for plastic/aluminum because it’s less work for them. But in most countries, they don’t have a recycling system to handle it. So more waste.

This is a cost-cutting measure for Moosehead Breweries. Pint-sized cans will replace the 333ml bottles. More volume, easier transport.
