The Kerbside Strategy consultation is open now. We want to hear from anyone who cares about the future of our streets. Your input will shape the final strategy.
Because here's the thing: this space belongs to all of us. It's time we designed it that way.

Thrilled to celebrate #WeFeedTheUK at Wolves Lane! Local food practices maximise value for people, communities, economies & environments. Haringey’s Black Rootz project shows how community farms deliver food justice wefeedtheuk.org/story/food-justice-served-fresh-from-community-farms/ 🌱
London's updated #VisionZero plan shows 20mph zones cut child road deaths by 75% & overall casualties by 34%. But with 110 people still killed on our roads last year, we need urgent action on safe speeds & street design. The data is clear - let's act on it. 🚸
Fantastic to see @FerryLaneN17 leading the way in waste prevention! Today they were recognised at EcoPark House for their outstanding work in the @connectNLWA In the Know programme - showing how north London schools can make a real difference. Proud of our Haringey schools!💚♻️
Our Climate Partnership meeting reinforced the fact that individual agency, when networked with others, becomes our most powerful tool.

Real change happens when communities don't just have a seat at the table - they help build it.
Our next Haringey Climate Partnership meeting - Wed 9 July, 6.30-8.30pm at Alexandra House, N22!

Let's shape our Local Nature Recovery Strategy, single-use plastics & new Borough Vision's Call to Action on greener choices, together.

“Someone with a 1-hr car commute needs to earn 40% more to be as happy as someone with a short walk to work. On the other hand, if someone shifts from a long commute to a walk, their happiness increases as much as if they’d fallen in love.” #CityMakingMath

So many kids celebrating in the joy and freedom of cycling! Great for health, great for confidence. We're determined to make the borough safe enough for every child to join in and share the joy!

People I see on e-bikes:
- Seniors staying active and living their best life.
- Moms, dads and kids actually enjoying the school run.
- People getting groceries or running errands
- Service workers commuting on an affordable vehicle

Incredible weekend collection! Dozens of bikes donated to transform refugees' lives. When living on just £8.86 per week and unable to work, these bikes are far more than transport—they're freedom from isolation, dignity amid uncertainty, and hope when it's needed most

🚲 Give a bike, change a life! The Bike Project is collecting unwanted bicycles this Saturday. Each donated bike helps a refugee overcome transport poverty and rebuild their life with dignity and independence. Donate your unused bike and support this vital cause!
We've explored how to do this with small schemes. It's all down to resources and capacity. We've decided it's best to focus those on big schemes, improving walking & cycling simultaneously where possible, and focusing on highest standard infrastructure.

& Lambeth Climate Action partnership to discuss the amazing work of Sustainable Ventures, our flagship green economy project, helping to build a climate resilient borough.
This is an old historic (sub-optimal) cycle route. We're implementing high quality lanes across the borough. This road will be addressed in the programme
