The main reason why I can’t watch any of these comedians again is that I’ll be thinking about Jamal Khashoggi & his family while they were acting as extremely well-paid court jesters for his killers.

True. And tax their empty houses - to the hilt. We're supposed to be grateful if they go to a few posh restaurants & buy some luxury goods. The mega-rich don't *add* anything if they don't actually live here. Enough of 'dark streets' with empty houses. They still send their kids to school/uni here.

One significant - & dangerous - thing to watch for is professional commentators objecting to words rather than examining the evidence. It's pearl-clutching & cowardly, obviously, but also a deliberate attempt to avoid confronting exactly what they themselves are facilitating and often cheering on.
