I mean, I wish that were true. But even then if the million people showed up that some people claim, that’s a factor of ten or fifteen less than 3.5%. Still damned good. Also, I’m pretty’s sure 3.5% is made up.

Sperm counts dropping is probably a natural result of must kids being fathered inside of stable monogamous relationships, especially in a world where a low count is largely solvable by reproductive technology. A high count would only be an advantage if women had multiple partners in a short time.

Weird fact: I love YouTube videos about guns. Their history and teardowns and operation theory and stuff. I've probably watched legit hundreds of hours. Making a mechanical system reliable at scale dealing with such kind of impulses, it's crazy how reliable they are. They are REALLY difficult stuff.
