The U.S. House is pushing H.R. 5518, a bill that would let U.S. officers
"operate on Canadian soil."
That's a sovereignty breach. Period.
Canada is not an American jurisdiction
—We won't allow foreign armed agents to enforce their laws here. If this is a way to force a 51st state situation it's a hard no.
Worse, this bill ties to ICE, an agency accused of wrongful detentions, deaths in custody, and systemic abuse. Against our Charter.
Canada must say no for sovereignty and for human rights 1/2

Social media should be social. What bugs me even more is Facebook. I don't spend much time there, have a small list of friends and relatives. But the lack of replies or responses often from people I know. Have unfriended more than one. I get more action from groups, which are strangers mainly.

Signs of Winter coming .. took the girls out on our long Saturday walk, walking along the lake the usual cacophony of bird song was muted this morning. Was a lovely 10c. A privilege to be blessed with the abundant nature around here, and to have a couple of wonderful companions to enjoy it with. 🥰🥰
