This is now a buzzword thread. “Single pane of glass.”
Modern corporate-speak is so weird. My parents’ generation never said “let’s double-click on this.”

The government shutdown is especially tough on men, who are losing $1.00 for every 75¢ a woman loses.
I knew it was going to be bad, but I didn’t predict dissolving Congress. I do agree that it’s basically happened now and we’re all sleepwalking thinking we’ll go back to “normal.”
Hey so you know the White House and Mike Johnson have essentially dissolved Congress and their is only one functioning branch of the government, the executive, and it’s parallel fascist, militarized police force right?
Going to be amazing to continue the narrative when it’s all senior citizens waving American flags.
Oh hey they changed their tune

I subscribe to the small local paper in Logan, in SE Ohio. Usually not a lot going on, some discussion of managing tourism, business news, corrupt officials. Today they published an interview with the Ohio U professor who was on the aid flotilla to Gaza. I hope it reaches fresh eyes in the area.

Purdue administration has also clashed with our student paper, The Exponent, as Emery Denham, campus editor, reports here. Purdue has stopped distributing The Exponent on campus and pulled The Exponent's status as a Purdue vendor, putting visas at risk for Exponent employees.
A shared pattern: Purdue and Indiana University have suppressed student media
On Tuesday the Indiana Daily Student found out its director would be fired immediately and its print would be discontinued. This suppression of student media is a common theme throughout the state.

Received a mailer from a candidate for the Cincinnati City Council race. At my home in suburban Columbus. 🤔
If you get stuck by the paywall, check out this image of the Purdue Exponent with IU’s statue of legendary war correspondent Ernie Pyle:

"’(My removal) penalizes my students, not me. My students are very upset about this. They value this course; it's core curriculum in the Masters of Fine Arts program in the school of film,’ Hayes said…Students walked out on the new instructor in protest on the first day of instruction.”

Des Moines kind of rocks, though!
He’s just going to keep reminding us that “if you’re explaining, you’re losing.” He’s losing.
Will make it easier for the Qataris to attend.
“Exclusive” as in “exclusively stole this from @rooster.info without attribution.”
I would say that's his goal. He thinks he's the state so he doesn't want Congress to do anything or get in the way of his grift.

my latest investigation for @consumerreports.org is based on months of reporting and 60+ lab tests of leading protein supplements

we found that most protein powders and shakes have more lead in one serving than our experts say is safe to have in a day (🧵)

So is it a small, but violent and radical group or a large group because they’re all paid protestors?
