Mr Philippines is the only one this year that even comes close to Mr Laos in terms of the giant amazing outfit. It's a very different approach to that kind of look but it's spectacular.

Mr Laos. Just when you though this year was a bit quiet on the insanely huge, bedazzled, symbolic costumes along comes Mr Laos and blows everyone else out of the water. This is insane, but it's also *so* good.

Mr India is also following the standard of previous Mr India's in the contest of just wearing something traditional and immaculate and I think this is possibly my favourite traditional look of the year. It's just breathtakingly gorgeous.

Mr Cuba I feel needs some explaining because surely he can't just be dressed as sexy Jesus mixed with Charlize Theron from Snow White & The Huntsman. It's a well made garment and he's smizing so very hard, but I surely do not understand.

Mr Sri Lanka. This is a rare case where I think the outfit would be better without the giant gold snakes around his head. Maybe add a cape, but I think the rest of the outfit (what little of it there is) is so great that he doesn't need the snakes.

me [reading classic literature]: man this is just like what happened to wishbone
moonicorn.bsky.social
LRP I've said it before but the Wishbone TV show & books were awesome for kids in the 90s. I read Romeo & Juliet, The Odyssey, a bunch of stuff like that, at an age-appropriate level, and I already knew them when we read them in high school! like the show was good but the books were GREAT.
