I have a short story that's been rejected 18 times (to me kind of a cross between Euphoria, Project Itoh's Genocidal Organ, Point Break, and You Were Never Really Here). But I love it, it's one of my faves, and I'll keep submitting it. Here's some feedback about it:

"This was a wild and surreal one for sure. A near future, semi-dystopian gang/cartel war zone world where malls and abandoned swimming pools still mark the passage of time for the young. The acid-washed, casual, dayglow violence of the piece is striking and impactful. You want the reader to be in the thick of it, to smell the stink of sweat and viscera, to feel the horror of it and witness the dissociative nature of those who deal in and experience it. Your narrator wants to see and be seen in a world where endings are common and connection is fleeting. It was powerful stuff."

Labels need to understand that every album is already on the internet somewhere, and act accordingly. I have zero interest in "leaking" your album online, where it has already been "leaked" as soon as it was ready. You want me to promote your music? Give proper access to it then.
