My dad and hs friends go to a game every year. The #Packers almost always lose. Exception - STL Rams game that I also attended.

The year the Packers went 15-1? They went to KC.

They're in PHX. I'd like to think the Pack will win, but.... 🫣

Could be. Not sure how long you watched, but there was a point where Sparkle asked to stop but was told she'd stay as she was (more aged d/to Sue) and she said no because she didn't want to give up on the every other week youthfulness.

I have no idea. I didn't start watching until later in the series and was never involved with any of the usenet groups. So I'm not sure that I was really in the fandom, per se.

And, yeah, I can definitely see it being unsettling. In part because of how realistic the misogyny was presented. Ugh.

We watched The Substance last night. Horror ish, but not the jump scare. Way more about body image and misogyny (female director), though there were a few parts that were more gory than I preferred.

Honestly felt like an X-File, almost, from the victim's POV at the beginning.

Yeah, I think so too. But I figure there's a way to quantify it, or even compare (small sample size) to regular season numbers. Harder over 4 vs 7 games, but were the % of pitches in the zone or chase rates way different?

Did the guys get in their own head and lose their ability to string together hits (eg, not taking balls, swinging at out of the zone pitches) or was it just really good pitching they couldn't get a bat on?

The NLCS? It was an absolute bludgeoning. Another despairing exit without a ring for a franchise that has never climbed the mountaintop.

But the 2025 Brewers were more than what happened against the Dodgers. Far, far more.
