Argentine media outlets are now reporting that Citrone asked Bessent for a rescue package.

OK, Pete Hegseth’s an idiot. He left out the word “training” when he said we’re building a Qatari Air Force facility. So I get why people were confused after his announcement yesterday, but I keep seeing folks repeat some version of “Qatar is building an airbase in Idaho.”

That’s not happening.

Analysis is 100% right but it’s important not to blow smoke when your citizens are getting brutalized. Maybe all the people saying the governor has no legit way of actually stopping them are correct! But if you can’t, then don’t claim you are.

Thats not true. However the truth is not much better. Qatar bought a bunch of F-16 from Trump. The US will host Qatari pilots at the Mountain Home Air Base in Idaho to train them on F-16. They will be housed in a separate facility that the Pentagon will be building for them. The truth sucks too.
