My dad died 3 months ago & today we had a party in his honor. My dad spent quite a lot of his life hosting parties & he would have loved his today.

Funerals are called for in many cases, but I like that “celebrations of life” are more & more accepted. I, for one, don’t want a somber funeral.

I cannot emphasize enough how dangerous it is to dismantle our disease surveillance infrastructure.
