Now it makes sense. DoFo is an apologist for dangerous drivers, including those in his cabinet. Personally, I prefer safer streets.

John Sewell deserves better than that.

At tonight’s “consultation”…

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.

Listen to the clip yourself…

It’s…

Telling.

From June 1 to the day that the strike halted the season (Aug. 12), the team had a record of 46-18. The team also had the best record in baseball at 74-40.
With the strike, the dream season of the Montreal Expos ended and it became a question of "What If?"

A newspaper headline reads "Stee-rike! They're out" with a subheading "Players hit bricks 'resigned, resentful'." The article, dated from the Associated Press in New York, discusses baseball players striking early, scuttling an extraordinary season, and limiting salaries. The image shows a crowded stadium with fans holding signs, including "Hey Only strike 'umpires call strikes'" and "I'll the best," with two players partially visible in the foreground.

It's funny to think that my preference for urban living in areas with dense, mixed-used, walkable neighborhoods, multi-family housing, small businesses, and diversity probably stems from Sesame Street. Like an early education in Jane Jacob's urbanist theories.

Today should be a statutory holiday in Ontario.
If only the manosphere was this cool, we could watch the game, do some needlepoint, listen to (or sing) some tunes, and talk about our feelings.
