Facts unmoored from story mean nothing. You can tell yourself they do, but I spend enough time on Bluesky to see, even in this progressive space, people are utterly uninterested in sharing any story that doesn't fit a narrative they are invested in.

yeah it's always very shocking for me now when i go from the areas of DC designed for walking to the outskirts designed for cars and how different it feels when all assumptions are that you will arrive in the place in a car
