On this #IndigenousPeoplesDay I'd like to draw attention to the western #Alaska storm that is causing whole houses to float away into waters that will make you hypothermic in no time, especially around the town of Kotzebue. The latest on Fbook says the Coast Guard is there now.

There is a major storm with high winds causing severe flooding on SW Alaska near the Bering Sea and the Yukon Delta. This follows severe flooding in NW Alaska in Kotzebue earlier this week. A lot of native villages are going to need a lot of help and you know it's not coming from the feds.

A lot of comedy as its own thing turns me off but I did recently subscribe to Dropout TV and it was a solid choice. A lot of it is improv based but there’s definitely a specific and intentional progressive vibe that I have really enjoyed.

It’s so hard to deal with it from a fire code standpoint - they’re valuable so people want to secure them, so they bring them inside. Plus people make a gig out of recharging the batteries for the rentals and overload circuits and put tons of them in residential and mercantile occupancies.

With the advent of micro transportation vehicles like scooters and bikes I feel like even fewer people wear helmets and I hate it. A mom of four died in a scooter accident locally, her life might have been saved by a helmet. By the time you know you need one, it’s too late.

I bet you my grandma still would have watched it. 9-1-1 reminds me of her even though she died before it even started, because it’s absolutely what she would have loved. And she was the most loyal fan ever, she watched all NCIS spinoffs that existed before she passed away.
