I probably should have put out a #projectmtv guide yesterday, but considering I queued a lot of pages with no idea of the link parameters at the time, I couldn't.

So, a page with each section linked.

The playlist is also embedded there. It's a lot.

The Roku Channel is doing impossible things and earning accolades and awards. How they managed to put shows folks said would never air anywhere again like Dream On, Homicide, The Real Ghostbusters, Extreme Ghostbusters, and others is amazing and should be studied by media historians. A great model.

Tubi is a fricking godsend because they picked up nearly everything out there. SO much variety. Classic & recent films. Older shows & a few modern ones. One of the biggest animation libraries on streaming media, including nearly 800 Looney Tunes shorts. Weird cult flicks & obscure stuff. Tubi rocks.

As much as I fault Paramount, they put EVERYTHING on Pluto TV. Library shows, franchises, classics, recent shows, even cable fare. You could legitimately watch Nick programming for free on Pluto TV, including their biggest show, SpongeBob SquarePants. and much of its biggest franchise, Star Trek.

And that was always Sony's weakness. Sony has a massive library of shows and movies, the second largest in the world (Warner Bros' library is far larger), and did nothing with them on Crackle. They didn't put their bigger properties on the site save small clips, and movies were a bare minimum.

Yeah... it's funny really how people like to point out that Seinfeld was successful because of that guy when, truth be told, it was big in spite of him and largely because of the folks around him.

They did.

It was called Crackle.

They were too early.

It lasted nearly 20 years and just shut down about a few months ago.

I would absolutely go for "A Month of Wonder" when that happens. Hoping it won't be any time soon, but I'd go for that.

Every couple of weeks someone great dies and we all make a big thing about how great they are (this week's is Diane Keaton) and it's always lovely because everyone is talking about fun things a cool person did. But I wish we could nominate one person a week we did that for *without* them dying.

when someone says about a woman, ‘i’m sorry, that’s just wrong,’ i tend to think she must be doing something right”

Considering both legacy characters come from Charlton (as did Vigilante and Judomaster), wouldn't surprise me.

It's a pity WB gave up on teen/young adult programming and never really had a venue for live-action shows for that demographic.

There are plenty of DC characters just rife for that market. I know they want to revisit Blue Beetle, and after watching Kamen Rider ZEZTZ so far, they really should.

Still remember the first time I played it. I was at my best bud's house, and he had that hooked up to the main TV in the front room.

Life-changing to say the least.

Horror has been very, very good for Warner Bros. And the IT TV prequel series is coming to HBO in a couple of weeks. I can imagine that's going to be huge too.

They're building the future of the studio and regaining the trust of so many creators in the process. Here's hoping whatever they're trying with Warner Bros Animated Pictures will do likewise for the animation industry.

They actually put this series on the Horror Stories by WB TV FAST channel. A pretty solid selection of rarities there.

Pam and Mike definitely understand the power they wield and yield at Warner Bros.

They both, as a character from a famous New Line film once said, crawled through a river of shit and came out clean on the other side.

Now they have to convince their boss not to be stupid enough to sell it all.
