At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.

Still haven’t seen a video of neighbors cheering an abduction, still haven’t seen reports of a neighbor pointing out a hiding migrant to ICE/Border Patrol

Early this morning, our city still plunged into darkness, I set off to walk the Brooklyn Bridge.
As the sun came up, we were joined by canvassers, labor leaders, elected officials, and working people — a movement to bring a new day to our city.

Great thread. Here you’ll find the words “political education” which are rarely uttered in our country but seem pretty central for digging ourselves out of the hole we find ourselves in.
