Cities are friendlier to office development, but not as much as the suburbs. NYC throttled office growth in America’s most prime business district in 1982 with the Special Midtown District, SF did the same, LA has always been lukewarm about offices on the west side, where they really want to be.

Picture how big the Hoover Dam is. An absolute unit. The Hoover Dam has a power capacity of 2 gigawatts (GW).

The solar farm that the Admin just cancelled could have produces 6.2 GW of power. That's more than 3 Hoover Dams.
