Back to fluff with this page! I love the thought that Emmrich showers Rook in gifts of grave gold to build up their collection—especially a Rook that wasn’t already a Watcher.

if you could open a portal to your favorite fictional world, which world would it be?

moonshadow is a portal fantasy and i don't think my main character Rhea has ever thought about it. she loves a good fantasy book, but her feet are firmly planted in her chicago accounting job.

I know I’m more of a fantasy guy, too, but if I could open a door into any fictional world? Star Trek. A post-capitalist utopia where they’ve solved world hunger, universal medical care, and have holodecks that can transport you to Jane Austen land? Beam me up!

Laelia expands on why she was uncomfortable with necromancy when she and Emmrich first met, and the two idly talk about the comfort the necropolis brings while the two walk towards the Memorial Gardens.

100% and Spokane is such a sensitive one for the locals. My husband is from Washington (we met there) and literally *any* time a show mentions Spokane, he either applauds their pronunciation or shakes his head 😂. Also, pop versus soda.

This ended up being the toughest task of #wemmrichweek, even though it was the first idea I had. Thinking about Emmrich’s fear of death, and how many times he must have endured the loss of loved ones… it makes today a hard day
