Another colourful addition inspired by a 1970's poster. A commission of three cats and the first on the theme of participatory soviet democracy. I like this one because, for me, the small details speak to there being a larger world behind the poster.
Three cats stand behind a lectern like shape. One a scientist pointing toward a book, one holding a catnip branch, and one with one paw on an emblem and the other paw pointing to text. The emblem is the soviet cat emblem with red star, globe, and catnip branches. Behind the cats is large red flag with hammer and sickle emblem. Behind this, a scene of engineering and economic feats, spacecraft, fishing boats, and tall cat tower complexes, etc. First text black reads "We defend our working way, the right to eat, the right to play, the right to nap in the light of day." Another text block under this reads "Participate in your councils, the democracy of workers, farmers, and communities."
