Tom, this is the best question/explanation of how I feel about your constant cat fights.

You are a literal expert in national security issues. A moderating, reasonable voice with credentials to back it up.

I am 64 years old and FOR MOST OF MY LIFE two things were true:

- we were beating them

Those creeps are beatable. We beat them for decades. In the 30s they tried a form of MAGA and US beat them. The 50s? McCarthy purges. US beat them.

The Trump party is not Republican. It is not conservative. It is Stalinist. Law enforcement is overwhelmingly ultra-maga.
I haven't given up but the reality is almost all law enforcement must be forced to act lawfully by citizens/electeds or face consequences. They violate constitutional rights as standard operating procedure

Don't forget that prosecutors asked for a 30 year sentence for the person who turned themselves in near Kavanaugh's house. That person received 8 years.

In this case prosecutors are only asking for 2yrs, 3mos.

Why the difference?
The other person turned themselves in.

The power imbalance is insane.

Masked men who can assault people with impunity.
Violate constitutional rights openly and brazenly.
