it was less painful than i remembered from my consult (that could be the lidocaine), but still had to grip my seat tightly a few times lol. i am a band-aid right off sort of person so i said let's go for it lol

it was an hour, and she got through the whole upper lip! i apparently did not use enough lidocaine cream so it was a bit painful, but manageable! i'm very happy laser took care of a lot of my hair before starting electro lol

there's an old NORAD base near my hometown that was abandoned in the 70s, but most of the buildings were left unlocked and there's all sorts of furniture and old equipment in there, the rumours among local kids was that one of the soldiers was killed and then the rest just disappeared

it reminds me of when they classified red meat as carcinogenic but no one really explained that the absolute lifetime risk for consuming moderate amounts of red meat was very low (iirc <0.01%).

we need to teach people to think probabilistically somehow
