I'm not interested in your MAGA.. be it of the red or blue variety. I want to help America become what she has always claimed to be: A country where all are created equal with liberty and justice for all. If you aren't... then just fo & block me.

My husband, who has the more 'traditional' PTSD, warned me this was coming during the Obama administration. He said that no matter how 'clean and easy' they made it.. killing still takes a toll.

I wonder how He-man Hegseth is going to react to this story.
The War You Never Leave: The Hidden Psychological Toll on America’s Drone Pilots
Drone warfare promised a kind of clean detachment. Pilots and sensor operators often sit in air-conditioned trailers half a world away from the dust and heat of battle. They commute from suburban home...

'very violent'?

ICE fishing with donuts?
Wearing frog suits?
Getting married during protests?

It is such garbage that Fox News continues to pretend that these protests are flames and destroyed businesses...

If we survive this, we really to pass some laws about facts in media.

One thing we keep seeing in coverage -- sometimes implicitly, sometimes explicitly -- is the idea that Susan Collins will be a 'formidable opponent' in 2026.

Probably! But past results don't guarantee future performance and there are a bunch of difference btwn 2020 and this cycle. #MEpolitics 1/X

My husband consumes almost everything via video.
I will only read, unless it's short and at least 2 people tell me it's worth the watch.

I have sound issues. Videos almost always have some disgustingly bad music soundtracks or lots of yelling. So if i do watch a video I probably have it muted.
vermontchicken.bsky.social
I will not watch a video if I can read an article just like I will not make a call if I can communicate in a text or email.

Not because I'm old or because I'm young or whatever ageist bullshit; because I hate people.

This is why the inflatable costumes works so well -- it works the same way calling them "weird" or "creepy" did. It disrupts their narrative, and makes them seem pathetic rather than cool-and-cruel.

You need to see this:

“The show of force is the point. They want these images to be out…The Department of Homeland Security is walking around Chicago with a film crew.” @jacobsoboroff.bsky.social

Israel has never held a single cease fire agreement that they have signed onto.

So no one should be surprised.

I'm furious actually.

At 77 yo she was ready to retire. Now the DSCC has dragged her back by exclaiming that she's the 'savior' and the 'only one that can beat Collins'.

I get that we are a gray state. But honestly.. King is 81. Collins is 72.

Enough is enough

Governor Hutchinson funded it. His sons were the tea consigners so while the rest of the country just shipped the tea back... Hutchinson refused.

The tax thing was to try to undercut the Dutch tea that was being smuggled in.

It really had nothing to do with 'no taxation without representation'

Anyone in the DMV that could help Mojo?

Due to my personal issues, I cannot keep her.

I'm selling everything and leaving.

She is very (mostly non verbal) well trained and the sweetest gal you'll ever meet.

Please I don't want to drop her at the shelter.

Love

Snagz

Today we honor the rich history, culture, and resilience of Indigenous communities—past and present.

As we recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day, let’s commit to telling the truth about our history, protecting sacred lands, and fighting for justice that includes everyone.

It's the same old same old.

They always accuse us of what they are doing themselves.

So apparently in MAGA world they pay their protestors.
notesfromme.bsky.social
And yet, you think we should still support you? In spite of throwing the homeless and the poor under the bus?

In spite of gutting unions, worker's rights, healthcare, and equal rights all in the name of 'bipartisanship'.

You can take your yacht and sh... err sail it.

The corporations don't need you. They don't care. You were just the back up plan if 🍊's Project didn't work.
The dems are chasing after the money, abandoned the people and embraced the oligarchs. All hail Citizen's United!

2/3
notesfromme.bsky.social
Dems are owned lock, stock and barrel by the the corporations. Dems don't give a rat's arse about people or their rights.

And that's why you are going to lose. Again.

The corporations are the one's in charge. And they prefer Trump's America with no taxes and no rules.

notesfromme.bsky.social
So you claim to be concerned about corporatism but somehow believe we need to stay centrist?

The entire 'center' is corporatism.

You are anti 'extremism' yet it is only 'extremists' who are even willing to discuss what it will take to get rid of Citizens United.

so... Good luck with that.
notesfromme.bsky.social
DO NOT HOPE.

Send him a few $$ if you can spare it. But do not count on Maine voters.

We have a history of voting for 'bipartisanship'. We end up with garbage like Collins, Golden and now King

Chances are Mills (another centrist) will win the primary and Collins will continue to be our senator.

My understanding was that he did do a brief stint as a private contractor after he got out of the military (as many young men do when there are no jobs available) He realized it wasn't for him.

Fetterman literally lost his mind after a stroke.

Maybe Platner should check his blood pressure?
notesfromme.bsky.social
So because someone was in the Military they are automatically evil?

You must love Trump then.
notesfromme.bsky.social
Fine then. Go vote for Mills and we will be in exactly the same position we are in now.

There is no daylight between Collins and Mills.
There is just a token letter after their names.

They are old, conservative and have no interest in moving forward. Only back.

I want to move forward.
