Apparently, there is a free to play via browser version (trial maybe?) here fluffy-lotus.itch.io/fillupthehole , but I picked it up on Steam, and encourage people to buy it there or pay above the asking price on itch.
Fill Up The Hole by Fluffy Lotus
Short incremental game where you build a city, automate garbage production, and toss it into a magical hole for profit.

Fill Up the Hole is an incremental base builder where players do, well, just that: Fill up a sprawling hole to reach SOMETHING...on the other side. Simple & straightforward, but the lo-fi chilldom of the gameplay low-stakes loop makes this a brief and relaxing deviation from the norm.

If this was on mobile I'd be fired by the middle of next week.

Having ADHD means half of my life is spent forgetting why I walk into rooms and the other half is spent muttering "fuck" under my breath when I realize I forget why I walked into a room

Spin like your life depends on it (it does) in Cloverpit, an industrial hell gambler. Gameplay seems simple, but the inclusion of collectible score-boosting modifiers adds an addictive strategic element to the inherent mindlessness of spinning. Kind of shocked by how this has its hooks in me.

This is, without an ounce of hyperbole, the best deal I have ever seen. At least half of these are worth a ten spot alone soooo.

Major shout-out to @mbmcandrews.bsky.social being named in Variety's 2025 Horror Impact Report. Ya love to see people being recognized not only for their talent, but for using their platform to uplift underrepresented voices.

David Simon, creator of ‘The Wire’, being interviewed by Ari Shapiro (NPR)
SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems...
SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

Tactical Breach Wizards does more than simply scratch my XCOM itch, providing uniquely fast, bite-sized turn-based strategy. Operators' varied magical & rewind/foresight abilities add a dynamic layer to combat, emphasizing thinking 3 steps ahead for every encounter. Also, surprisingly funny! 🧙

Jason Blum has made a living working creatively (and not so creatively) cheap for years without needing AI.

He should be the one championing that fact, not shrugging his shoulders and saying, 'well, AI is just inevitable'.

Just need 1,500 more wishlist to enter the coveted 7,000 goal for steam to consider us a real game.

Not sure if we'll get there between now and the next-ish month, but we'll see...

Maybe I should make a tiktok account.

New developer Supermassive Games takes Little Nightmares in a familiar direction, though co-op does mix things up in a welcome way for the series.

For now, the System Shock 2 ('99) delisting only applies to Steam, with no news regarding the game's status on @gog.com .

I realize SS 2 is in ZERO danger of becoming a "lost game," but I still find the removal of original versions from storefronts to be problematic when it comes to preservation.
