This will be my #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days (2025) thread on BlueSky.

From August 1st through October 31st, I will add all the horror films I watch for the first time for this challenge.

Let's see how far I get this time!
Finally watched Eddington and I really liked it, but then it made a Geronimo sight gag that pushed it up another notch.

Our upcoming game HORSES was preemptively banned from Steam, with no path to appeal. The game will still launch next week on December 2nd and will be available on EGS, GOG, Humble, and Itch for $4.99. Here is a detailed FAQ covering what happened: horses.wtf/BannedFromSt...

The biggest game storefront in the world really should have the resources and self-imposed mandate to be transparent with indie devs about decisions that could wreck their livelihoods. This isn't cool.

Duke Nukem 3D was a standout when my family got a PC in 1997. For a while I thought my love for it was just nostalgic titilation, but it's really a bloody good shooter draped in exaggerated machismo.
This week, @neilbolt.bsky.social & @notfunnyj.bsky.social hail to the king in their reminiscence about the brash and bold lineage of Duke Nukem 3D!

If you wanted to add extra flavour to your film, Udo Kier was your guy.

Melancholia, Blade, Dogville, Shadow of the Vampire, and so many more where his presence was significant in small ways.

Rest easy.

Black Eyed Priest is one of my favorite developers because it scratches particular itches, using nostalgia correctly and subverting expecations of the PSX-inspired game with every new outing. Skinfreak keeps the hot streak going in style.

Bob Trevino Likes It embraces its cheesiness and makes it central to its greatness.

Flaws may be there, but the raw emotional heft of it left me with a very wet, salty face in the last 20 minutes.
A ★★★★ review of Bob Trevino Likes It (2024)
There's flaws to Bob Trevino Likes It. It's often clunky, the way some things are shot don't gel with the film it is, and the trailer shows up all its bad traits to the point I was reluctant to watch ...

Yes, it's #LetterboxdFriday and yes, I have a #LastFourWatched to offer.

Clint's Prison Break.

Chorus lines and cancer at Christmas.

Orson Welles Eires his dirty laundry.

Another viewing of an all-time favourite.

My primary goal with Save Scum is to champion notable indie horror games. So it's a huge bummer to report that, after years of waiting for the game's release, I did not enjoy my time with Dead Static Drive.

The Running Man is good. Suffers a bit from reality making its scenario almost quaint, and it's a touch too dark at times (as in I can't see) but potent talents of Colman Domingo, Josh Btolin, and Glenn Powell keep the fire burning.

Also very much enjoyed Michael Cera's Home Alone reboot pitch.
