My sis lost a full term child Dee.
Tears are streaming as i write this Dee, I am so so sorry for your losses.
I’m in awe at a woman’s ability to cope (I emphasise, cope, not get over) with such tragedy.
I truly believe, the instinct that motherhood brings is the most powerful force of nature. ❤️❤️

Private Eye offers up an excellently scornful commentary on the relentless polling. It’s become ridiculous and has oversimplified our politics to dangerous levels of stupid and irresponsible.

WHAT AN INSULT the ‘deal’ is to the hostages, some tragically dead and the 67,000 civilians who died so a deal can be done with Hamas, an organisation that still exists despite their prolonged suffering being framed as a justification for the eradication of that very organisation. 💔💔💔

Small businesses have been used as the rhetorical pawn for Tory propaganda for years whilst in reality they suffer with the rest of the serfs so the mega rich can get even richer.

It’s awful that most don’t get a good deal from the system. This has worsened in the last decade or so, which has seen staggering increases in wealth at the top of society.
We need to look to Scandinavia where taxes are fairer but businesses thrive and services, wages & pensions are excellent.

Does this status quo of attitude really come from those of us collectively having to pay the required taxes to preserve a decent society, or from those stuffing said profits into their pockets at a favourably lower taxed rate than most other taxes?🤷🏻
