Victor has made it clear that this is the only correct and true configuration of office equipment that will meet his needs.

A grey cat, asleep (he wants to think) on his back, his front paws curled up bunny-style, and his fang showing, just a little bit. Behind him is a pale green iMac and in front of him is a black adaptive keyboard. This positioning assures frequent breaks for belly rubs (his, not mine.)

It’s rainy rose season again.

Terracotta gladiator group, with an olive-green enamel glaze. Two gladiators once opposed each other on the long base, one now missing, save his left foot. The remaining gladiator stands with his right leg advanced, his scutum (shield) held before him in his right hand. He holds a sica (short curved sword) in his left hand and wears a crested visored helmet and extra long greaves which cover his entire legs.

MY PURPLE CALASH.
'Tis only what ever should please
Proud Fashion profanes with her touch,
Who, rather than beauty and ease,
Will pour to the wrinkle and crutch.
I wish she would let well alone,
Invention not put to the test,
To please every ill-natured crone
That's nothing but rouge and cologne-
Theatric effect at the best.

I were to a convent inclined,
If not for its shutters and wall;
I never could make up my mind
That life should be winter and fall;
My heart and my footsteps are free,
And fashion—a buzz and a flash-
May whisper her awful ' Oh see !'
And laugh as though laughing at me,
Displaying my purple calash.

It's long been the envy of girls,
Admired by many a beau,
And shadowed as beautiful curls
As e'er to the shoulders may flow.
It's been a companion and friend,
As constant forever as now,
While hopes, like young shepherds, attend
The flock of emotions that wend
Their way from the heart to the brow.

Twas formed for that epicure ease
Convenience hath over at will;
Though it fail slaves of fashion to please,
With me tis a favorite still.
It can ne'er to a convent belong,
That appellates glory but trash;
Where care will not hush to my song:
I would rather remain with the throng-
A recluse 'neath my purple calash.

How well every dress it becomes:
The ball's, promending's or playe;
How nicely the fingers and thumbs
Bestow it a thousand of ways;
E'en night-winds may mutter and sigh
Or snow-drops, in August, too, fall;
With him that should love me anigh,
Its strings 'neath my chin in a tie,
December l'd not heed at all.
