I would treat something like "here's a video of a robot that uses AI to do your dishes" or "here's an AI app that helps blind people identify objects" very differently, for example.

Yeah. I try to give a little grace to people playing around trying to learn it for their careers (I have a data science learning account), and just avoid sharing it instead of instantly blocking.

The ones that make me the most angry are where they're putting words in dead leaders' mouths.

This is an example of white privilege & systemic racism.

My husband is Black, and I worry about how responders could treat him or my extended family in an emergency.

My white family members don't understand & think I'm paranoid. Like as long as they don't commit crimes, they'll treat them right.

White families don't have to worry about an innocent family member's treatable medical emergency possibly leading to their death because emergency responders make a bad assumption and end up shooting them or imprisoning them and ignoring their medical situation until it's too late.

My read is that fascists in the Trump Admin had Portland central to their martial law plan — 100% confident they could poke us & get visuals they wanted — and we, incredibly, have denied it to them in the funniest way possible.
