2 days. I got the floor up Friday and painted it Friday night because it's supposed to dry 72 hours before big people come in & install appliances. Today I did the wall patching and painting.

Today's task: Fix drywall in the laundry room and get a coat of primer done because my washer & dryer arrive tomorrow. And it's done!

Before: Ugh laundry room with icky "parquet" peel & stick vinyl tile, yucky "white" walls and a drywall hole needing repair.

After: Laundry room with orange-painted cement floors (needs anothe coat), drywall hole repaired and a coat of white primer drying (may need another coat)

Many years ago, when I worked for a big formal L.A. foundation, I started a radio show on a punk rock radio station so needed a pseudonym: Pinky’s Paperhaus. I started recording the show and sending it out as a podcast.

long version: I was going by the initials “CM” on a message board for writers, because it stood for “Chicken Mafia.” People knew me as CM and then suddenly I needed a real name for human interaction purposes.

I started going by “Miss Kitty Fantastico” online when I started watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer as a teenager, but that was often too longer for a username on a lot of sites, so I shortened it to “misskittyf.” It’s stuck for nearly 20 years now.
