Coming to this late, but really enjoyed @paulcornell.bsky.social and @lizbethmyles.bsky.social on The Sky at Night. I too have warm teenage memories of meeting Patrick Moore in person in the mid-1980s, and was sad to find out about his political views. Must find the Uranus episode!

I feel like your recommendation might be biased…

But it IS still a good idea…

I’ve also checked out @paulcornell.bsky.social’s LONDON FALLING so I *could* spend the weekend just reading but I have sewing and crochet projects that are also calling

My autumnal impulses at war!
Craft or read?

A couple of weekends ago, I gulped down the first three in @paulcornell.bsky.social’s WITCHES OF LYCHFORD series (thru my local library)
I’ve got the 4th but I’ve been busy & it’s taunting me - but maybe tonight!

But the library doesn’t have #5
And #6 just came out so not that either (yet)

That was a lovely do at @goshcomics.bsky.social with punters and comickers wandering about with wine glasses. I feel we were very launched.

It's worth watching some of the international versions to see how different the players are. The challenges are often the same, but the players' approach to them – and to each other – can vary tremendously.

It's fantastic, I am a huge fan, and have watched all the UK series thus far, and I can safely say that you will reach a very NOT calm place while watching, where you cannot imagine how the clues are being missed by the Faithful 🤣

I wonder if the main series is like this. I can't fit another series into my life.. can I? 😅

It’s incredible television. The three civilian series have all been great. Twists and turns with razor sharp editing.

I remember watching the first ever episode and realising a real BBC licensefee-worthy warhorse a la w Strictly/Doctor Who had been born. The producers are absolutely top of their game. (Btw it’s calm now, yelling at the telly starts soon…)

I watched The Traitors for the first time last night, and found it delightful, warm primetime fun. It’s striking, though, that we at home know everything. We’re not guessing, we’re observing people guessing. That’s a very different, very calm place for an audience to be in.

If you love old comics like I do, please consider giving something to help @twomorrows.bsky.social recover from (definitely) losing $65k in the Diamond Distributors bankruptcy. They make Back Issue magazine, which I adore, and many more wonderful titles. givebutter.com/c/B7HQDj
