This is also, very sadly, true.

It was EASY to speak out for Kimmel. The method to speak up was practically gift-wrapped for us.

What is the method in this case? Most people won't even bother to put thought into it.

I am not immune to this - bad news overload eventually just issues an Error: Not Enough Memory in my brain and I don’t retain anything after it.

This is part of the strategy, btw - overwhelm people so they can’t keep up with the news.

Give grace for forgetting, and keep records!

Considering the BUTTLOAD of awful news that has kept coming, it wouldn’t surprise me if they MISSED the reveal about the Nazi stuff - I have to actively remind myself, and I don’t even remember the details or when the news broke.

Some folks, it might have just missed them in the deluge

Because it’s affecting her, too.

She doesn’t have the generational wealth other Republicans (and plenty of Democrats) have to insulate her from these costs - she’s a newcomer to politics, she feels it in her pocketbook, and they will throw her to the wolves.
