I think what's bothering me about all these statements I'm seeing from politicians that are variations of "Israeli hostages and Palestinians are returning to their homes, yay" is that Israelis are returning to their homes and Palestinians are returning to uninhabitable post apocalyptic rubble.

I'll never forget before people realized how much Gwen Stefani sucks, seeing people show pictures of how young she looks with captions like "being unproblematic keeps you looking young." Today I'm seeing "hate ages you" and "you can tell these people are bigots just by looking at them" etc.

It would be one thing if there weren't talks of anti-masking laws and such general hostility towards masked faces in public. I've given up on others masking, but if it's going to get harder and harder for me to be in public safely while masked I guess I'll just stop going anywhere or having friends.
