i did see a video where someone distorted his voice in post when saying affected words and showing it typed in the video so people who couldn't discern it saw what it said, not the best for those with bad eyesight but it was the only one that didn't make me cringe

for typing i feel like we can get away with abbreviations or even asterisks if need be but yeah we should try not to make these words unbearable to say because they still happen. for a victim yes they might personally want to censor them when they speak but that's their own personal journey

i don't find it creative to say shit like sewer slide and unalive and GOD FORBID PEW PEW. it's just another way of hiding away and stigmatizing these issues and making people suffering from them even less likely to open up, even if that's unintentional on your end it's just not good

like. i'll be the first to say "get that paper" even if all you're doing is react to videos. but if you have to get around a censoring problem, idk how ethical it is to turn serious issues into babytalk and jokey alternatives, because we've all seen that it WILL bleed into everyone's language

i know we all need to do the limbo under the algorithm pole and navigate every platform's fluctuating stringency but i feel like we're doing the world a huge disservice by making this not just a part of our regular vernacular, but documenting serious issues with babytalk so you can monetize them
