Irgendwo in Mitteldeutschland. Ich betrete eine Sushibar und bestelle am Tresen. Bald kommt die Kellnerin, eine asiatisch aussehende zierliche Frau, mit meiner Bestellung und sagt in tiefstem sächsischen Idiom:"Schmecken lassen!" Ihr grinsen verriet mir, dass ich wohl etwas überrascht geschaut habe.

Holy crap... What a douche bag. I have spent my entire education in private schools, so I'm no stranger to major assholes. She was an Aviation Pioneer, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean, and achieved many other Aviation "firsts." She disappeared in the South Pacific while trying to become the first woman to fly around the World.
Amelia made it almost three quarters around the World before she suddenly, and without notice, vanished, never to be seen again. Her disappearance, almost 90 years ago, has captivated millions. I am ordering my Administration to declassify and release all Government Records related to Amelia Earhart, her final trip, and everything else about her.

The Maple #Leafs have thumped my Habs in a pre-season game yesterday.
I expect that the entire Leafs organization will focus their work from here on out on planning the Stanley Cup parade. That is, until they find another miraculous way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory come playoff time.
