They already haven't said the nicknames of players' Pokemon for a few generations now, don't remember when it started but at some point "Michelangelo" became "your Squirtle". Full voice acting would make that issue worse, MAYBE there'd be lines for your starter choice but that'd be it :c

I get where people come from wanting voice work in the main series games, but honestly same. I feel like it'd take me out of the immersion. I just *know* that if voice work was added, other characters would never directly reference my specific Pokemon ever again and that would kinda break my heart.

The only possible upside of this nonsense is that maybe this'll FINALLY get people to stop mutilating non-consenting infants for ~The Aesthetic~. Unfortunately I don't think that's very likely, and also avoiding the 'tism is always a bad reasoning for doing (or not doing) anything be it good or bad.

Is there a Firefox extension to bypass the warning thing on Youtube videos? Because I just tried to watch a video with a sensitive content warning and the button to watch it anyway was just Gone. Idk if it's a symptom of this new UI or what, but I think I can decide what I'm comfortable watching.
