Introductory post... Ahem... Hi I'm Ric aka PuttyCAD a freelance artist for around 20 years. I studied graphic design at college and also gained a diploma in cartooning. I now mostly work on game graphics and illustration. In my spare time I make retro games for the #ZXSpectrum with my friends.

The new copy of Crash magazine arrived with a glowing review of Babyman VS Terminatots Pt1 You can buy the games over at puttycad.itch.io The game was written by Nigel Critten in MPAGD with gfx by myself as usual. Works on original hardware and emulators. Enjoy!

We had a road trip accross the pennines to Chorley on Saturday. We finally got to see the comedy legend John Shuttleworth (OOF!) He was absolutely brilliant! His merch was even funny! I bought his book and a wooden spoon (?) which he signed! Top man! #johnshuttleworth #oof #raisetheoof #legend

Our kids are too old for legoland now but we used to go A LOT. They loved it. Our fave rides were the Dragon, pirate ship, viking river and we really loved the surprisingly good pony ride that spins up in the air. 😂

I'm not on any medication but I've just turned 54 (i think - I was typing 53 and then remembered I had another birthday last month) I forget stuff all the time so I hope it's normal! 🤔

Another new find. An invoice from Martin Galway for the Galaforce 2 music and sound effects - BBC Micro / Acorn Electron. Dated 2nd October 1988. It cost me £115 incl. VAT which was a great deal - mates rates! He wrote a brand new music driver ( player ) for this game and did an amazing job!
