She's a rescue. We got her for the OH's daughter's friend cos they "really wanted a cat". A few months later they moved house and abandoned her. 🤬

We tracked her down and brought her here with the intention of rehoming her properly. That was 13 years ago. She's going nowhere. 🤎

People shouldn't see other people as the enemy. In anything. On social platforms, in politics, on the road, in car parks, in the pub, in shops, in the street.

Life is so much easier when you start to realise the world is not your enemy, so you can stop being angry at everything in it.

Turns out my Xerox laser printer is a bloody great snob. It does not like low grade paper.

Tested on Avery J8173 (inkjet) address labels and it prints perfectly. The same test on L7173 (laser) shipping labels, no go.

You can tell by the feel, the laser labels are all rough and cheap-feeling.

Laser toner is rubbing off some labels I have - Avery L7173s (made for laser printers). 🫤

It prints fine on the HP Colorchoice paper (100GSM) as well as the Avery J8160 labels (which are inkjet ones). So I don't think it can be the fuser unit.

Changing paper type in prefs made no difference. 🤬
