Clinic sister made me give clinic staff a ticking off as reports of nurses swivel chair races had made it to her ears. As a consultant she said I needed to nip bad behaviour in the bud. Going to have to wait till she's on holiday for the next competition.

A bastard burgled my house while I was at work. Saw it all on my home CCTV & called the police. The police caught the burglar because he was having so much fun playing with our Golden Retriever, Daisy, that he didn't realise the cops had surrounded the place.

We keep planting vegetables and then they get absolutely decimated by slugs and snails :(. Snails had even travelled a good 7 foot up our grape vine:(

Omg so where we lived briefly there local Facebook group was run by a local board candidate who had purposefully blocked a different local board candidate, and they’ve both won seats on the local board. Beautiful.

Have taken to putting pimple patches on mosquito/midge bites so I don’t scratch them and make them worse. Bit like torture, not scratching an itch.

I think that probably started when she said it looks weird if you have two brides or two grooms, or when she told me my dad* (*she) wouldn’t like it if I married a black man. Ffs.

Yeah it wasn’t great, although I do like nothing changes round here. I had a giant poster of that album cover when I was a teenager because I’d gone to an album launch thing in a bookshop. My mum did not like it.
