I re-edited some of my 60sec video essays and posted them on TikTok in late 2024. I deleted the app a while ago, but friends will send me periodic updates. One of my essays got 2 million views... look at this 💀

I would be remiss not to mention TikTok's impact on my video essay career. I remember struggling to explain Vine's impact on video essays because so many videos were lost forever when it shut down.
