ah, that is the most open section of the game. the focus narrows or at least clarifies later. but still, i'd say at this point youre limited in specific ways that make arriving at the major milestones likely before too long

You cant go wherever you want. The game does funnel you toward what you need, just with room for meandering on the way, enough to feel like you discovered it on your own.

So there you go. If youtube essays were all already done, no film as famous as Fargo would be lacking a straightforward "this is what the ideas of the work are" video. In reality, theres so much ground left to cover.

For example I fairly recently watched the film Fargo for the first time and wondered what people thought it was about. No video like that exists on youtube. There are essays that discuss aspects of Fargo, but Im pretty zero that attempt to interpret the core beliefs communicated by Fargo.

A lot of people talk about video essays like they're totally oversaturated and most ideas have already been done and thats so so far from the truth. Not only are there infinite possible ideas, but a ton of really simple ones are out there waiting to exist
