I have, and adored it! I've read nearly all of the author's books by now. Hands of the Emperor + sequel are definitely my faves of hers though!

185. The Hands of the Emperor by Victoria Goddard. Fantasy reread. No matter how many times I reread this (this was time #4!) chapter 78 always has tears streaming down my face. So beautiful, so heart-full, so perfectly hopepunk and optimistic. A book I'll always treasure.

Now that I've recovered from my cold and isn't sneezing my brains out, I finally managed to finish up my piece from @paulscottcanavan.com 's mentorship :D

Knew I wanted to paint a horse, so decided to draw some inspiration from the wild hunt folklore and ended up with bonus doggies.
