About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages

"America" is not engaged in a trade war. One malignant narcissistic, fragile, low intelligence man is in a trade war, impacting the rest of us.

And the punchline is that these tariffs are under Congress' purview, not the President's. So the soybean farmers can thank their gutless representatives.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the Bronx and Harlem at our paper shredding events — we cleared out old junk mail, built community, danced, took family portraits and enjoyed frozen treats (it still felt a lot like summer). Thanks to everyone who joined.
