When Bluesky restored my hacked accounts, they did not lift the restriction on posting videos. The support team took two weeks to get my response telling them what happened, and now I have to wait until they read the further info I gave them. So no new (or old) videos here for a long while, I guess.
One of my video posts replaced with a 'Video not found' error

Tom Cat, Tigerman and Achoo Rabbit
Frosties
1983-1991

For eight years, Tony the Tiger's adventures in the UK followed him and his trusty kitten sidekick Tom foiling the evil Tigerman whenever he approached their Frosties Secret Formula, also running into a sneezing rabbit named Achoo along the way.
Tom Cat, a British Shorthair kitten with a red kerchief around his neck just like Tony's Tigerman, in a Western bandit's outfit, robbing a sparkling sack of the Frosties Secret Formula from the bank An old grey rabbit with dark eyebrows named Achoo Rabbit, sneezing as Tony grabs his ears by accident and Tigerman gets away with the sack Comic from 1986: "Tony the Tiger v Tigerman"

Panel 1:
Tony and his friends are having a WHALE of a time playing in the sea
(Tony is going windsurfing on a tiger-print board and the Frosties Secret Formula sack in his grasp, with Tom Cat and a fishing Achoo aboard a wooden boat attached to the board with a rope.)

Panel 2:
But Tigerman is up to his usual tricks.
Tigerman, imagining destroying Tony using his whale-shaped, sharp-toothed contraption: "This time Tony there will be no escape ha ha ha"

Panel 3 (a speech bubble leading into panel 5):
"With the help of my Deep Sea Whale machine, soon the secret formula for Frosties will be mine."

Panel 4:
Tigerman using his periscope heads towards Tony
(His machine approaches Tony and co.)

Panel 5:
The machine eats Tony's board as Tigerman nabs the sack with a net. Tony jumps onto the boat at that moment. "YIKES" cries Tony.

Panel 6:
Tigerman in scuba gear escapes as the machine goes "GL-GLUG" down to the bottom of the ocean, leaving the net and the sack behind.

Panel 7:
Tony catches the sack with Achoo's fishing rod before Tigerman can get back to it.

Panel 8:
Safe once again.
(Tony is on the boat, having retrieved the Secret Formula.)

Panel 6:
Tigerman: "GRR-R I'm not finished yet, I'll be back to steal the Kellogg's Frosties Secret Formula."

Bubl
O2
2020-2025

A playful, trusty robot who made it his duty to keep people connected. He could store useful items in his chest compartment, blow bubbles through his antenna and party with anyone who used O2. He quietly retired this year when O2 discontinued their longstanding 'bubble' identity.

Bud and Baz
Yogz
1998-2006

Two hip, sporty kids - a skateboarder and a rollerskater - first depicted as yellow cut-outs whose best friend was their refrigerator, and later as video game protagonists. In 2003, they underwent a complete overhaul as creative, younger kids to better reflect the times.
Bud, a yellow skateboarder with a blue cap flipped to the left, uni-lens sunglasses, a pink T-shirt marked with a yellow and dark blue Yogz 'Y', a black sleeveless jacket and blue shorts, and Baz, a rollerskater wearing a red helmet, the same T-shirt but blue, and green shorts. Behind them is their best friend, a refrigerator on a red skateboard. Bud, Baz and their fridge in 1999 CGI, celebrating their latest victory by eating Yogz Bud and Baz in 2003, now younger boys with natural human skin; Bud has ginger hair and wears an indigo cap and T-shirt again marked with a 'Y', a dark blue puffer vest, blue jeans and white sneakers, while Baz's helmet has a 'Y', he sports brown hair and rectangular eyes and wears a blue shirt, green trousers with lower leg pockets and blue rollerskates with red wheels Print ad for Müller Yogz featuring Bud and Baz mixing the Yogz candies into the yoghurt their own ways.
SHAKE IT (Bud mixes it while doing a wheelie down the street)
FLIP IT (Baz mixes it on a seesaw)
SPIN IT (Baz mixes it on a swing)
RATTLE IT (Bud mixes it in a drum kit)

The tagline: "It's all in the mix"
Baz and Bud say: "TOTALLY YOGZSOME"

Confucius
Confused•com
2009

As Confused was deciding on how to stand out from the price comparison crowd, and while they were already hawking Phil Lester as a testimonial, they tried the Yoda-esque puppet sage Confucius. This attempt at a mascot bombed, and his ads fell into almost total obscurity.
Confucius, an appropriation of Chinese mythology vaguely resembling Yoda. He is an elderly puppet sage with grey skin, heterochromia, white hair sprouting from the top of his head and above his ears, a petite goatee and a white and green robe.

Hugs
Batchelors Cup-a-Soup
2004-2007

This campaign for Cup-a-Soup illustrated the feeling of a "great big hug in a mug" using yeti-like arm monsters enveloping soup eaters from above the moment the sensation kicked in. One ad was deemed inappropriate, as it looked like a Hug was groping a breast.
An office woman carrying a mug of soup being hugged by a furry, blue monster comprised of a faceless head and two arms with large, yeti-like hands A man puppeteering one of the Hugs One of the Hugs standing on its hands, looking around Three people being hugged by skydiving Hugs, with many more parachuting in the background

AMC Theatres
1991-2008

This magical filmstrip surfed on his flying reel and got up to mischief that broke the 'Silence is Golden' rule during AMC pre-shows. Though his time as mascot has long passed, he can still be found in a few venues, if only as decoration, and was sold as FiGPiNs in 2023.

Joe's still around at Cinemark, furrier than he was before, but he just shows up for family events as a few still images and in costume. I have covered Penny, Elton and Clyde though!

Arnold
Lombard Direct
1996-2016

Lombard Direct burned their name and phone number into Britons' nostalgia with their Enn Reitel-voiced cartoon telephone, Arnold, and his regularly rerun adverts. In 2006, he was given an arguably less spirited CGI makeover, a new voice and the nickname 'Lombard'.

Count Chocula with Monster Marshmallows (1996-1996): This Count Chocula variant featured the classic chocolate cereal pieces, but with the addition of new marshmallows that were vaguely shaped like Frankenstein's monster, a mummy, a ghost, and a Wolfman

In 2001, Kellogg's upped its Halloween cereal game with CANDY CORN POPS - bummer that even 24 years later, it has still never seen a re-release

Buttermen
Country Life
1977-2013

Bob, Buster, Burt and Billy; a cheerful, cheeky, proudly English butter quartet designed by Tony Cattaneo, who sung praises for butter, the country and girls. After their disappearance in the late 80's, they briefly reunited in 2000, and in 2013 for social media.
The Buttermen as reimagined in 2013: Bob, Buster, Burt and Billy, four naked men made of butter, with big noses and two strands of hair The Buttermen singing and staring with satisfaction as a housewife prepares toast and an egg with Country Life butter The Buttermen resting and having a picnic beside their small house, shaped like a Country Life butter block The Buttermen in their last animated appearance from 2000, singing for a group of women and a little boy
