Like that. Have no idea if it's true but I like it.

If people will open their minds and listen, even for a few moments, maybe there’s a path back to normalcy…

Had they been opposing Brexit from Referendum, to implementation they may have have some credibility. But they didn't. And they still can't find the reverse gear so it is very hollow!
edwinhayward.com
Are Labour really going to try and tie current economic damage (and hence the need for further tax rises) to Farage and to Brexit, whilst at the same time insisting that persevering with Brexit is the right thing to do?

That feels like gaslighting of the very highest order.

This sadly demented man doesn't realize *he* was president on Jan 6, 2021. Get him in an assisted living facility ASAP.

This is just inhumane insanity.

After spending 43 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, evidence hidden by the prosecution reversed his conviction. Rather than finally enjoying freedom, ICE abducted him for deportation

Depraved.

Dear Britain,

I am a wanker.
Headline: Danny Kruger sends letter to explain defection to Reform

And Labour supported!

Teesside’s freeport, initiated in 2021 under Rishi Sunak, has cost £560 million far exceeding the standard £25 million allocation (22 times the standard £25m).
90% profits go to the private sector.
This clearly shows the UK model of State aid post-Brexit is utterly corrupt.
richardcato1.bsky.social
Labour should have been saying this since the stupid referendum result
demcath.bsky.social
Labour have also been piss poor in Govt though.

This is a major shift in Labour comms. It seems Brexit will be blamed for the budget.
But naming the issue is not enough. They now need to name the solution or be left behind parties that will.

Not to forget get the mental health pressures of economic strife
ladyvean.bsky.social
For #worldmentalhealthday I want to encourage everyone to help end the stigma against mental illness. It affects people every bit as much as diabetes, cancer, hypertension, and all the rest. That is why I speak so openly about my own experiences.🧵

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

Quite. 10 years of insanity next year.

Good to blame Farage for the dull-arsed, ruinous, tedious failure of Brexit.
Not that good to keep punishing us for that failure, rather than looking to swiftly boost our prosperity by asking to rejoin the Single Market and Customs Union.
But yes. It’s a start.

www.thetimes.com/article/8875...
Starmer and Reeves are expected to argue that if it hadn't been for Brexit this type of downgrade would not have been needed - and cite official figures suggesting that if Britain had not left the European Union the economy would be about £120 billion greater by 2035 than current forecasts suggest.
The message is simple: Farage is ultimately to blame, as the man who delivered Brexit with "easy sloganeering" then walked away from the aftermath rather than putting in the hard yards.
Or to put it another way: Farage, not us, is responsible for putting up your taxes.
The theme will tie to the main thrust of Starmer's argument at conference, that the Reform leader is selling easy solutions that are just a fantasy.

I just watched the video of the Portland Cop threatening to arrest an ICE agent if they drive their truck through a crowd. Now I see this where the General of the Oregon National Guard says if they get called up they will protect the protesters. People are fed up.

Brigadier General Alan R. Gronewold made the comments to state lawmakers Sept. 30, and they drew notice on social media this week.

Tell me about it! Yes, it did indeed cost me £95 today. The govt. are so short sighted by not offering it to everyone who wants it. I am lucky enough to be able to afford a jab, but many are less fortunate. Article is very interesting, but slightly disappointing, as I was given Pfizer, not Moderna.

Quite. The BBC is a Reform tool not an independent broadcaster!
onelifestand87.bsky.social
It is embarassing not to see the BBC pulling up Reform leaders claiming that Nathan Gill was just some fan who got photos taken with Farage - he was an MEP for them & their leader in Wales while taking cash from Russia to act against the UK! Literally the very basics of your job to point this out
