You just cannot take the iPaper seriously when it wheels out Kwasi ‘mini budget’ Kwarteng to comment on the budget.
We don’t *ever* want to hear from this arrogant clown again.

Quick analysis of The Times today:
Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform.
Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.

“Western liberals are divided between justifying or whitewashing Israel’s livestreamed genocide, or issuing empty, hand-wringing platitudes. Whatever remained of that political tradition lies buried in Gaza’s pulverised landscape”

Israeli group B’Tselem notes that, since a supposed “ceasefire” in Gaza, Israel has:

* killed 345 Palestinians,

* denied food to 70% of the population who need it,

* demolished a further 1,500 buildings.

All of this is in blatant violation of the agreement.

Nigel Farage: "Yes, I was racist in high school, but only in a warm, cuddly way"

Most of Farage's supporters don't see his racism as a bad thing—it's
actually his only selling point.

Nigel Farage: "Yes, I was racist in high school, but only in a warm, cuddly way"
When about 20 of Nigel Farage’s former school mates accused him of racism, you would think our next prime minister would frantically deny the accusations, but such a denial is actually unnecessary.

Farage was, and still is, a racist and a bully.

We always knew that.

But his bigoted followers won’t see this as anything other than a good thing.

They’ll adore him even more!

Do you remember when Miriam Margolyes said she wanted Boris Johnson to die live on TV.

There was outrage.

Now it turns out Johnson wanted her and ALL the old people to die.

I think she needs an apology.

The Starmer strategy
I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s hugely patronising. “Poor wool-headed angels being duped into voting for racists” - no they’re choosing to vote for racists because they’re racist and the patronising effort to woo them only makes it worse. Shame them. Enough will peel off.

How dare Trump and Putin draw up a “peace” plan without the involvement of President Zelenskyy. A stitch up. Putin would be a winner. A reward for invading a sovereign country 🤬

Trump’s peace plan, is what you would expect it to be …… CRAP!

What a result it would be for Putin.
Gives him the green light to invade whichever European country he chooses.

A country that allows its president to call for the execution of people who want the constitution to be respected is morally and politically bankrupt and should be internationally isolated.
