I never got around to doing a 2024 wrap-up even though I had two things published I am REALLY proud of. First, "Remember Me" appeared in Eye to the Telescope, Issue 52. (36 lines, 190 words)

Sometimes the slush pile is so depressing--when I am on the no side of a piece that is awesome, that is exploring something about a marginalization that I'm sure will resonate with many others who share it... but when the piece just isn't a fit for the market I'm reading for. *much sad*

Apex's Kickstarter is looking a little dodgy right now and listen, I know times are weird, but there's no magazine doing more at the bleeding edge of spec fiction than Apex; there's no one more important in this space. If you back one thing this year, it should be Apex.
