I'm so glad I have a few days off this week. I'm currently trying to do about 6 different tasks, and I have the Richard Cheese version of "Down with the Sickness" running in a constantly loop in my head. Nothing is actually getting done, but I'm trying really hard.

Since opening submissions on Oct 1st, @apexmag.bsky.social has received 2,187 stories. We're working our way through them, but it's taking us some time.

I've been playing a Sims legacy challenge for the past month or so and it is ABSOLUTE chaos. For each generation, I'm choosing a book or series to name the kids after. First gen I started with an alien and human. They had four kids all named after characters in Romeo and Juliet.

Last night's creature feature was Frogs (1972). This movie was WILD! The amount of times I yelled "That isn't how that works!" was nuts. It features a wealthy family celebrating the 4th of July and a few family birthday parties on their island estate.
