Banana chocolate cake!!! 🍌🎂 Big thanks to @effies.bsky.social for sharing the recipe.

It's a simple chocolate frosting, just on the top and in between layers; and I decorated with banana chips on top, on the side seam, and then between the layers for a bit of a crunch with every bite. Delicious!

This year I've been reflecting upon and writing about my life as a neurodiverse author. Here's one of the most personal essays I've ever written about being on the spectrum. In addition, an updated version of my free booklet "Tips and Strategies for Neurodiverse Writers" is available.

This story is written with the precision of a scalpel and it takes no prisoners when it comes to the revelation. Perhaps you want to read a non-linear story about heat and the chill of a ghost against your skin.

Hey! Some fun news. "The Sort" (orig. @clarkesworldmagazine.com) was picked up for @wilwheaton.net's podcast. Went live today! Narrated thoughtfully and w/a kind shoutout for SFF mags at the end. And a surprise(!) mention of Uncertain Sons 🙏. Many thanks to Wil and his audio team. What an honor.

Nebula Awards are now open for SFWA members! ☄️ This year, I'd be very humbled and delighted if members considered my novella, Disgraced Return of the Kap's Needle, in their ballots.

Drop me a DM if you want a copy for consideration!
