a bureaucracy of middle men, who are well paid, to prove they qualify for the programs much like SNAP. Stop the madness and just make it free and make the people who get to actually enjoy living in the city, the rich, pay for what makes it run... the normal people.
First of all, your stupid fare is barely covering the cost of the machines taking the fare. Second, the fare creates a hostile work environment for the drivers who also have to be bouncers. Third, it's a tax on the poorest and then half of them get it for free anyway but have to go through
When Trump ran they asked him what his plans to fix health care were and he said he had and idea of a plan but no plans and never came up with one, when the Dem Soc guy runs they ask "You say you want to make busses free, explain how you're going to pay for this, you have 30 seconds."
1 month of pandemic level advanced Unemployment Insurance (UBI) was 35 billion btw. What would 4 weeks of $950 do for you right now?
Twitter is doing that thing again, where they don't allow you to repost stuff they don't want spreading. I'm just going to start clipping things.

They're trying to frame Charlie Kirk's alleged killer as left wing because traditional political analysis has no frame of reference for the heavily splintered modern political landscape, and as such they're defaulting to "he must have been left!" rather than "he was a blackpilled groyper."

how it feels the day after going to a concert in your 30s:
Agreed. I now think of sitting with Joe Rogan as both a physical and mental torture for clout; the poor guests have my sympathy.

SB 21 is moving quickly through the Delaware Senate. If passed, it would allow corporations to force shareholder disputes into secret arbitration instead of public courts. This would set a dangerous precedent nationwide.

Elon Musk is pushing Delaware SB 21, a dangerous proposal that would strip away critical protections for pension funds and everyday investors. The bill would shield corporate executives from accountability, putting your 401(k), pension and other investments at risk.

Since the launch of ChatGPT, the employment of computer programmers has already fallen to its lowest level since 1980. Post-ChatGPT, there has been a 27.5% plummet in the 12-month average of computer-programming employment. Man, those people who said learn to code in response to AI fears were WRONG.
Employment for computer programmers in the U.S. has plummeted to its lowest level since 1980—years before the internet existed
The job drop’s correlation with the rise of ChatGPT has led some to believe we’re seeing how AI will impact future coding jobs.

BREAKING: I just offered an amendment on the floor to give Veterans fired in the Trump-Musk layoffs their jobs back.

Every single Republican blocked it.

Shame on them for betraying our heroes.
