And if someone is tabbing between like five shows, Twitch used to arbitrarily award the +1 viewer stat to two of them (based on ??? criteria), now it looks like they just stop counting you if there's too much traffic, which makes sense because how are you a viewer if you're watching that many shows?

Like I said, a lot of automated behavior or unrealistic viewing is now being not counted towards the stricter, advertiser-friendly CCV. Communities that prioritized automated lurking will be disproportionally affected because they're unintentionally viewbotting.

According to the threat actor, they gained access to Discord’s Zendesk instance for 58 hours beginning on September 20, 2025. However, the attackers say the breach did not stem from a vulnerability or breach of Zendesk but rather from a compromised account belonging to a support agent employed through an outsourced business process outsourcing (BPO) provider used by Discord.

As many companies have outsourced their support and IT help desks to BPOs, they have become a popular target for attackers to gain access to downstream customer environments.
